The AI-native operating system for a firm of one.

You do the client work. This does the firm work: the outreach, the proposals, the pipeline, the filing, and the remembering.

Nothing goes out without your review. Installed into Claude Code, Anthropic's AI application, on your own computer.

$297, once. Assembled for your firm, in your inbox within one business day.
Runs inside your own Claude Code subscription, about $20 a month to Anthropic, not included. Everything stays on your machine; RBD. never sees your files or your client data.

A full staff, one firm-wide brain, no employees.

An agentic staff with a complete org chart of functional roles, a chief of staff and an executive assistant, integration with your current stack, and a firm-wide brain that remembers your state and stays fresh, so you never file or update documents by hand. RBD., a one-person advisory firm, runs on exactly this every working day; the complimentary manual documents it all before you pay.

ChatGPT answers questions. This runs the firm.

01 · Skills
Wave, the Outreach Engine
It targets your list, verifies addresses, drafts the outreach, applies your rules and labels, and sends one reviewed wave at a time from your own Gmail, so you sell outbound while you sleep instead of paying $49 to $99 a month for Apollo or HubSpot. A script you paste once sets up the labels; every send and reply files itself. Sells alone at $97; included.
RBD.'s Gmail label tree, filed by the wave label system
RBD.'s government contracting campaign, running. Every send, reply, and agency thread filed under the wave labels, not by hand.
02 · Templates
The Campaigns Board
It tracks every offer, send, reply, and sale, one row per offer, updated as Wave sends. You open one page and know which offer works and which to retire, without a $99-a-month tracker. The go-to-market team runs it: research, offer, design, and pricing seats.
RBD.'s live revenue board
RBD.'s own board, running, numbers blurred. Every offer, price, send, and sale on one page. The template ships in the box.
03 · Routines
The Routines
You open the day already caught up: the morning brief reads your inbox, calendar, and priorities for you. The assistant, RBD. calls hers Avery, files mail and stages every draft; nothing sends without you. The daily dump closes the day in a few minutes of talking. The RFP engine, an add-on, watches bid portals daily for contracts you can win.

04 · Agents
The Advisory Board
Six seats argue a decision before the money is spent. The disagreement sits on the page where you can read it.

board-contrarianargues against the plan
Disagrees with both seats above; names the untested assumption neither one addressed.
05 · Agents
The Systems Team
Nothing reaches you unchecked. An architect reviews before anything gets built, an engineer fixes, and an auditor verifies every claim against your files. In RBD.'s first week, the auditor rejected all five claims in the engineer's diagnosis before they reached the owner.

06 · Guides
The Install Guides
You install with the same guides paying clients used: twelve, one per piece, each covering what it is, how to install it, how to run it.
guides/All twelve
01Agent org design. Nine rules for a team of seats that holds up in use.
02The auditor seat. A read-only check that verifies what the system claims.
03The architect seat. A review before anything gets built.
04Knowledge graphs. Build a graph for one subject and keep it current.
05The retirement pipeline. How a session closes and what memory keeps.
06The intake pipeline. A raw daily update sorts and files itself.
07Cross-graph joins. One fact updates everywhere it appears.
08The pruning sheet. What a file keeps and what gets cut.
09Single-Mac backup. Protect a memory system that lives on one machine.
10The daily cockpit. Priorities, decisions, and open threads in one morning view.
11MCP installs. Plug the system into Gmail, calendar, and drive through MCP connectors.
12Artifact dashboards. Manage the firm from pages the system builds for you.
07 · Delivery
The Install
You answer three questions and run the system the next business day. It arrives by email as folders you copy in, each with its own instruction document.
The actual skill and advisor files on disk
The files themselves. The skills and advisor seats as they sit on disk, plain files in folders. Yours install the same way.

Your whole firm learns once, and every seat knows it.

The Cognitive Mesh from Megan's book, The Intelligence Organization, at firm-of-one scale. Everything your firm knows and does, as one unified intelligence every seat reads.

The daily dump feeds it

You say what happened once, in your own words. Every decision, finding, and action files itself into the right document. You never update files by hand, and the next session every seat starts current.

Named facts, not fuzzy recall

GraphRAG in plain files: retrieval reads exact facts and relationships from your firm's knowledge graph, not the closest fuzzy match a vector database returns. The pricing seat reads your actual rate card, not a paraphrase.

A map that audits itself

A manifest names which files load for which work, and the system audits itself against what sits on disk, so the brain stays fresh and stale references get caught. A correction is written where it will fire next.

28 working skills. Each one is a job you stop doing by hand.

Hover or tap any skill for the design logic inside it.

cos

You open each day knowing the top three things that deserve you, and what to ignore.

The logic inside

Every decision reaches you framed, with options and a recommendation. The seat filters and drives; it never decides, and it never chases you.

assistant-charter

Your calendar, drafts, and follow-ups are handled, and nothing sends without you.

The logic inside

A written charter separates what you owe others (the assistant) from what you are deciding (the chief of staff). Every outbound stops at a draft.

dump

You say what happened once, in your own words, and every piece lands where it belongs.

The logic inside

A routing table names which file owns which kind of fact, so nothing is logged twice or filed nowhere. A fresh dump outranks any older record.

retire

Sessions end clean, and the next one starts already briefed.

The logic inside

A closing ritual moves only what earned keeping into permanent memory. Short sessions restarted clean compound; one long session drifts.

capability-scout

You find out what the system can do that you are not using yet.

The logic inside

It reads your actual usage against the installed inventory and names the gap, so the machine you paid for does not sit idle.

your-voice

A note to a specific person sounds like you wrote it, because the register maps to the recipient.

The logic inside

Voice is mapped per relationship, not one house tone. The last ten percent of every draft is edited by you, and that stays the rule.

co-writing

Long documents get written with you, never silently rewritten for you.

The logic inside

Your own sentences are never changed without a veto. Every proposed edit is listed beside the original, and the structure comes from your motion, not a template.

concrete-prose

Dense drafts become sentences a reader can act on without translating them first.

The logic inside

The test is who does what. It hunts abstractions sitting where a person or a named thing belongs, because that is why readers bounce, not length.

house-voice

Everything you publish reads like one firm wrote it.

The logic inside

Register and banned-word rules are enforced by a small program at save time, not by anyone remembering them.

newsletter

Finished research becomes an email your reader opens and finishes.

The logic inside

One finding is re-cut for the reader receiving it, and every figure stays traceable to its source file, so nothing goes out you cannot defend live.

post-session

A client working session becomes a finished, sendable package the same day.

The logic inside

Each deliverable copies the format of the last document that client accepted, so what ships matches what already worked.

site-style

Every new page lands consistent, indexed, and quotable.

The logic inside

One navigation standard plus structured data on every public page, so answer engines can retrieve and cite it. A working lead source, proven once already.

gtm

An offer is pressure-tested by four seats before it goes on sale.

The logic inside

The seats are read-only and every price is a recommendation until the owner agrees. The pricing seat argues against the funnel seat on purpose.

proposal-strategy

Your bid argues what moves the buyer's score, not what fills pages.

The logic inside

Strategy is set before prose. Effort concentrates on the factors the buyer weights, in the order the panel reads.

proposal-voice

Your proposals read like the ones buyers already chose.

The logic inside

The register is derived from 558 pages of public McKinsey and Gartner proposals. Median sentence 21 words, zero contractions in the whole corpus.

rfp-response

Your response lands in the buyer's own structure, where evaluators can score it.

The logic inside

Submission documents keep the buyer's section names in the buyer's order, because panels score with a checklist and findability beats cleverness.

grant-writing

Grant applications speak to funders in a funder's terms.

The logic inside

A separate lane from contracting, because a funder reads for mission fit where a contracting officer reads for compliance.

scope-adversary

You sign knowing what the scope will actually cost you.

The logic inside

It reads your agreement the way the client will read it in month three, and prices every unpriced ask before your signature turns it into unpaid work.

key-account

Your most important relationship gets a staffed team of its own.

The logic inside

A context keeper stays separate from the writer, so advice comes from current facts on file, not from a memory of them.

qa

Nothing ships with a claim that fails a live challenge.

The logic inside

A fast mechanical check runs on every save and a slow judgment pass runs on request. Both, never just one.

bid-review

Your draft is scored before the buyer ever scores it.

The logic inside

Defect passes run on every bid because they never stop finding. Scoring panels run only where the buyer published weights, because scoring saturates.

legal-qa

Your agreement is attacked before the other side gets the chance.

The logic inside

One seat checks your standing protection list, one simulates opposing counsel, and one rewrites your asks as rules that benefit every party, so they survive review.

distill

A pile of one-off observations becomes a standing rule.

The logic inside

The pattern is written into the exact place it would fire next, so a lesson costs its price once.

board

A decision gets argued before the money is spent.

The logic inside

A standing contrarian seat is built to disagree on purpose, and the disagreement lands on the page where you read it, not after the spend.

model-cost-optimizer

Routine work stops running on premium rates.

The logic inside

Each task routes to the cheapest model that passes the task's own check. Escalation requires a measured failure, never a hunch.

system-overview

Anyone can see your whole machine on one page.

The logic inside

The map regenerates from the files themselves, so it cannot drift from what is actually installed.

ui-ux-pro-max

Anything with an interface ships at a professional standard.

The logic inside

Design is decided against a written standard, so quality does not depend on taste on the day.

world-class-web-app

Web work ships production-grade, and done means verified.

The logic inside

Build standards carry their own verification steps, so a finished claim is a checked claim.

Built by the person who runs the firm it was built for.

Megan Starkey is CEO and Principal Consultant of RBD. and the author of The Intelligence Organization. She built this to run her own practice first, posted what it replaced, and the replies asked how. The complimentary manual answers in full before you pay.

Four months and 91 sessions to build. One business day to install.

Built alongside a full client workload, logged and indexed. You skip the build.

~4 months
From a blank folder to a working structure, alongside a full client workload.
91 sessions
Working sessions logged before the shape held.
1 rebuild
One complete restart before it was scoped right.
What the pieces cost, one at a time
ComponentThe benefitHonest anchor
Chief of staff
(intake and routing)
New information files itself. A $99/mo tracking tool still leaves you sorting. This sorts.
Advisory board
(standing contrarian seat)
A standing second opinion, before you commit. The live version sells at $1,500/mo. This ships the pattern.
Go-to-market team
(offer, pricing, research, design)
Four seats pressure-test every price and pitch. One hour of this sells at $2,500. This ships the seats.
Systems team
(architect, auditor, contrarian)
Nothing is done until something checks it. The live version is the $750 Build Session. This ships three roles.
Wave, the outreach engine
(wave skill, Apps Script label system)
Reviewed outreach waves send and track themselves. Sells alone at $97. Included here.
Working skills
(28, proposal strategy to the daily dump)
Repeated judgment calls run the same way every time. Priced like RBD.'s own $129 templates, five of the 28 alone are $645.
Memory & routing architecture
(knowledge graphs, starter doctrine)
What you learned the hard way governs next time. Taught as a course, $249. This ships the finished structure.
Install guides
(from curriculum delivered to paying clients)
The walkthroughs paying clients received. Already delivered inside paying engagements.

The five smallest anchors alone, $750 + $645 + $249 + $99 + $97, add to $1,840. The $1,500-a-month board and the $2,500 go-to-market hour stay out of the sum. All of it, assembled: $297, once.

This is for a firm of one.

A fit if
  • You run a firm of one and want the structure that runs RBD.
  • You want a second opinion before things go out the door.
  • You would rather install it than spend four months building it.
  • You can copy files into a folder and read a guide.
Not a fit if
  • You want a hosted app with a login. This is files you own, running in Claude Code on your machine.
  • You want it to run unattended. It works only while Claude Code is open.
  • You work on Windows. The install guide covers Mac and Linux today.
  • You want it fitted to your practice live, with Megan, instead of by yourself. That is the Build Session, $750.
  • You need this for a team. It installs for one person.

Purchases are governed by the Terms of Sale and Refund Policy.

What happens after you pay
  1. Checkout confirms and your receipt arrives by email.
  2. You answer three questions, on the welcome page or by replying to the receipt: your firm in one line, the tools your work runs on today, and the client type you serve most.
  3. The assembled system arrives by email within one business day, as folders you copy in.

Why there is no refund

Digital delivery; all sales are final, per the Terms of Sale and Refund Policy. In place of a guarantee, everything in the box is described on this page and, in more depth, in the complimentary manual you can read before you pay. If anything is missing or broken on arrival, email ops@rbdco.ai and it gets fixed the same business day.

Want it fitted to your practice in a live working session instead? That is the Build Session, $750.

Before you buy.

What is Claude Code, and do I need it before I buy?
Anthropic's AI application, running on your own computer, Mac or Linux. You do not need it first; the install guide walks you in. The subscription is separate, from about $20 a month to Anthropic, and the built-in cost optimizer routes routine work to cheaper models so that subscription goes further.
I already use ChatGPT. Why is this $297?
ChatGPT holds no memory of your firm, touches no Gmail or files, and keeps no record of what went out and what sold. This system does the firm work in your own files and remembers it. The $297 is the assembled system; the Anthropic subscription stays yours.
Does this run on its own, or is it a managed service?
Neither. The system runs on your machine, only while Claude Code is open, and nothing goes out unreviewed. The one exception is Wave: its Gmail script runs on your own Google account and sends the wave you already approved.
Am I technical enough to install this?
Install is copying folders into place and reading one guide. The guide covers the one settings file the hooks use and the one script Wave needs, pasted into Google Apps Script and run once.
What if I have questions after install?
Install and delivery questions go to ops@rbdco.ai, answered the same business day. Fitting it to your practice live is the Build Session, $750.
Will it fit my kind of firm?
Every firm of one runs the same functions: pricing, proposals, pipeline, memory, review. Your three intake answers scope the build to your practice; skills you never call sit idle.
Is any of my data involved?
No. Everything runs on your own machine, inside your own Claude Code session. RBD. never sees your files, your memory, or your client data.
What if something is missing after I get it?
Email ops@rbdco.ai and it gets fixed the same business day.
Why is there no refund?
Digital delivery; all sales are final, per the Terms of Sale. Everything in the box is described here and in the complimentary manual before you pay.
